Analog & RFIC Engineer

Job Description:

  • Design and characterization of analog and RFIC circuits. Supervise IC layout and provide feedback to layout engineers.

  • Collaborate with teams in India and abroad to develop innovative circuit and system solutions for challenging problems in domains like SATCOM, Radar, Communications (4G/5G).

  • Work on specification definition, architecture feasibility evaluation, circuit design, layout, post-silicon evaluation and trouble-shooting.

  • Experience with Cadence IC design tools (Virtuoso ADE, Spectre RF, Virtuoso schematic editor, layout verification and parasitic extraction), EM Simulators (EMX, HFSS, ADS Momentum), MATLAB/System Vue and Scripting (Shell, Python).

  • Candidates preferred with experience in using lab equipment such as Signal Generators, Spectrum Analysers, Oscilloscopes, Multi-Meters (DMMs), etc. and strong analytical and debugging skills.

Requirements:

  • (M.Tech/MS)+5 year’s experience (with 2 Tape-outs) or PhD degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with strong educational background in Analog and RFIC circuit design.

  • Solid understanding of CMOS process and device characteristics, and scaling-related impact to circuit design

  • Knowledge of analog and RF PDKs and their components for using with industry standard EDA flows from Cadence, Keysight, Siemens, Synopsys etc.

  • Experience in designing any of the following circuits: LNA, Mixer, PA, VCO, PLL, Analog Baseband Filter, TIA.

· Knowledge of production processes to ensure quality and robustness
